How
do I sign up for the NCLEX-RN exam and what is the fee?
In order to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam, you must first apply
through a U.S. state and get approved by that state to write
the NCLEX-RN. For example, if you wanted to take the NCLEX-RN
exam, you could apply through the state of New Hampshire (or
any other state) as an exam candidate. Please note that you
DO NOT have to physically be in New Hampshire to take their
exam; you simply need to be at an approved exam center. If
you write the exam through New Hampshire and pass, you would
then get a New Hampshire RN license.
Please
contact one of Procare USA's licensing specialists at 800.877.6785
for more information on registering for the NCLEX-RN exam.
Currently the fee for taking the exam is $200 USD for registration
(approximately $350 for exam locations outside the U.S.),
plus the licensure fee for the state through which you write
the exam. All fees are subject to change at any time.
