Questions and Answers

Where do I go to get TN status? How much does it cost?
You will get TN status at any U.S./Canadian or U.S./Mexican Port of Entry. A Port of Entry can be any ground border between the U.S. and Mexico or the U.S. and Canada, or any U.S. international airport. After you present the required documents and pay the fee (currently $56, subject to change), the Department of Homeland Inspector will give you an I-94 Admission/Departure Record, and will note your TN status right on that document.
