Green
Card Sponsorship
Procare USA sponsors Green
Card and other nonimmigrant visa applications. In-house immigration
specialists monitor the complicated U.S. immigration laws
and procedures; they also provide support and guidance to
those we sponsor; and they act as liaison between the nurses
we sponsor, the client employers we serve and the attorneys
who process our applications.
Procare USA requires its sponsored nurses
to agree to an extended employment commitment in return for
sponsorship. The commitment period for applicants already
employed by Procare USA
begins on the date the Green Card petition if filed. However,
regardless of when the application commences and how long
it may take to conclude, these applicants should remain in
our employment until they receive Green Card status. Procare
USA will pay most of the costs associated with
the application including attorney fees for the worker and
eligible dependents, application fees and other miscellaneous
expenses related to the process.
| Some
advantages to our sponsorship are: |
| |
Portability
- Because we place employees on assignments throughout
the U.S., employees are not
locked into one employment location |
| |
Experience
- We have sponsored work visa and Green Cards for over
thirteen years |
| |
Cost
Reduction - We will pay most costs associated with the
application |
| |
|
| Some
advantages to Green Card status are: |
| |
Removes
the need and expense of visa renewals |
| |
Insulates
the holder from changes to immigration laws that may in
the future restrict foreign
professionals from working in the U.S. on temporary work
visas |
| |
Visas
such as TN or H-1B are temporary in nature and are therefore
"unprotected" |
| |
Green
Card status is often the only (or best) route to employment
status for the dependent spouse
and older children (under 21 years) of the applicant |
| |
Green
Card holders are eligible for substantially lower tuition
rates at third level schools |
