Missouri Travel Nursing

For Missouri travel nursing jobs, Procare USA provides private, single occupant, furnished housing for free. There are additional housing charges for extra bedrooms, furniture, house wares and linens, if needed, by our Missouri travel nurses. We coordinate and pay rent, security deposit and utilities and you arrange and pay for telephone, cable and security deposit for pets (if applicable). For a Missouri travel nurse, check-in is generally permitted on the Friday prior to the travel nursing assignment start date. Checkout is Monday at noon following completion of the final travel nurse’s workweek. A monthly allowance may be paid if housing arrangements are not required.

Our Missouri travel nurses are paid competitive hourly rates. In addition, overtime, holiday and callback hours are paid at time-and-one-half and occasionally double the regular hourly rate. Differentials for Procare USA travel nurses are commonly paid for charge or supervisory roles and when placed on-call. Payroll is paid biweekly and free direct deposit is available for our Missouri travel nurses.

Eligibility for a Missouri travel nurse to enroll in Procare’s benefit plans is the first of the calendar month following thirty days of employment. Procare USA provides our Missouri travel nurses a 401k plan with company match and immediate vesting. The plan offers a range of investment options that provides the travel nurse the opportunity to diversify their investment dollars. Procare USA pays all of the premiums related to our group medical, dental and term life insurance for Missouri travel nurses. We also offer dependent care coverage at a reasonable cost. Group Term Life insurance will be provided for each Missouri travel nurse regardless of medical and dental plan participation, at no cost to the nurse.

To work as a Missouri travel nurse, you typically need at least one year of clinical work experience as an RN or LPN preferably in an acute care hospital setting. Missouri hospitals require travel nurses to hit the ground running with limited orientation. Furthermore, travel nurses may be asked to float to other units where they have prior work experience. Missouri travel nursing can be a rewarding experience for nurses that possess strong clinical skills and want to travel the country.
