Procare USA provides no cost single occupant furnished accommodation for all Oregon travel nursing assignments. Monthly allowances may be paid to Oregon travel nurses if housing arrangements are not required. Moderate housing charges for furniture, additional bedrooms, linens, and house wares. Procare USA arranges to pay rent, security deposit and utilities on your behalf. The travel nurse is responsible to pay all telephone, cable and security deposit expenses(for pets if applicable). Oregon travel nurses’ check-in is generally permitted on the Friday prior to the travel nursing assignment start date. Checkout is Monday at noon following completion of the final travel nursing workweek.

Our Oregon travel nurses are paid competitive hourly rates. In addition, overtime, holiday and callback hours are paid at time-and-one-half and occasionally double the regular hourly rate. Differentials for Procare USA travel nurses are commonly paid for charge or supervisory roles and when placed on-call. Payroll is paid biweekly and free direct deposit is available for our Oregon travel nurses.

A Oregon travel nurse working for Procare USA is eligible for our 401k plan with company match and immediate vesting. A range of investment options is provided, giving you the opportunity to spread your investment among different categories within our plan. Procare USA also pays 100% of the premium cost for group medical, dental and term life insurance for our Oregon travel nurses. Affordable dependent care coverage is also available. Group Term Life insurance will be provided for each Oregon travel nurse regardless of medical and dental plan participation, at no cost to the nurse. The eligibility for Procare’s benefits plans is the first of the calendar month following thirty days of employment.

To work as a Oregon travel nurse, you typically need at least one year of clinical work experience as an RN or LPN preferably in an acute care hospital setting. Oregon hospitals require travel nurses to hit the ground running with limited orientation. Furthermore, travel nurses may be asked to float to other units where they have prior work experience. Oregon travel nursing can be a rewarding experience for nurses that possess strong clinical skills and want to travel the country.
